The recognized, neutral test institute – LGA QualiTest GmbH in Würzburg, Germany, accomplished the thermostat test. Its purpose was to compare quality features of several thermostats. Criteria that deliver added value to end consumers and are therefore relevant during the purchase decision were defined.
Therefore the test covers Quality of temperature control, security, handling and service quality. In total 17 products of known, European brands have been tested. To facilitate the orientation they have been clustered in three market-oriented performance categories.
